Abstract
The concept androgyny has a long history .As a feminist ideal ,it was proposed by Woolf in her“One Room of One’ s Own”,arousing heated discussion among researchers at home and abroad .“To the Lighthouse”is a classic novel of Woolf .In this novel ,the famous British female writer presents lily-an androgynous painter with unique character by her change of thought in the process of painting during ten years ,thus expressing her desire for the ideal state of harmonious cooperation of males and females and pointing out a way for women liberation .关键词
