Abstract
In the fifth chapter of “The Story of the Stone” ,the poems in the "Zhengce" predicted the tragic fate and outcome of the Twelve Beauties .Furthermore ,the author arranged so ingeniously the order of these poems .This order complies with a large framework of the hierarchy in a feudal society :the masters are arranged in front of all ,followed by the wives of male mas‐ters .The author also arranged these poems of Twelve Beauties in the form of pairs by considering so many elements ,such as the relationship between the characters and the primary and secondary clues of the novel ;the order of appearance and the frequency of appearances ;the degree of the cherish of this role by the author and how to achieve a generally balance .关键词
