A Discrete SIS Epidemic Model with Time Delay

摘要

Abstract

A discrete SIS epidemic model with time delay is investigated,the basic reproduction number of the model is derived. By comparing principle and iteration,the permanence of solution to the model is studied. By means of constructing appropriate Lyapunov functions,it is proved that if the basic reproduction number is less than unity,the disease-free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable;if the basic reproduction number is more than unity,the endemic equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable.
