Expression and Significance of 14-3-3 and Bcl-2 Proteins in Human Glioma
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore biological significance in the occurrence and development of glioma through investigating the expression of 14-3-3 and Bcl-2 proteins in human glioma. Methods The immunohistochemical S-P method was used to detect 14-3-3 and Bcl-2 proteins in 5 normal brain examples and 68 human glioma specimens. Results Compared with that in normal brain tissue,the expression of 14-3-3 protein was upregulated obviously ( P<0. 05 ) in glioma tissues, but in different pathological grading glioma, there had no obvious difference ( P>0 . 05 ) , and the strength and scope of the 14-3-3 protein expression in glioma tissues increased with the increase in the malignant degree ( P<0 . 05 ) . The positive expression rate of Bcl-2 showed obvious differences in malignant glioma with different pathological grades (P<0. 05),and the intensity of Bcl-2 expression presented a significant elevating trend with the increase in the pathological grade. Conclusion 14-3-3 and Bcl-2 proteins in human glioma tissues can affect the malignant degree and pathological grade of glioma,so that they could be used as a guide for clinical pathological diagnosis and grading.关键词
