Frugality of Chinese Ancient Architecture and its Value of Times
摘要
Abstract
Virtue of frugality is not only China’s important moral values of ancient building, but also an important feature of traditional architectural aesthetic fashion. It plays an important role in the integrity of governance and enriches the state and the people. Virtue of frugality of palace construction mentioned in ancient books is mainly reflected in two aspects, namely, “ mean palace” and “ moderation palace”. Both aspects advocate that palace construction is “services to frugal”, does not seek tall and gorgeous, against excessive pursuit of material desires, and advocate control spending by etiquette, against labor architectural extravagance. The ancient virtue of frugality is precious thoughts of wealth and has value of times which can’t be underestimated under the backdrop of sustainable development to become a global consensus.关键词
