摘要

Abstract

A method based on Matlab to calculate polarization degree of color image is proposed.Loss of polarization degree in traditional calculation due to wavelength mismatch can be avoided in this new method. The method is applied in target recognition under similar background.It is found that compared with intensity image visual definition can be improved and minutiae feature can be recognized using polarization degree image, this lays a good foundation for subsequent image processing.
