Abstract
Numerical simulation was employed in the study of hydrodynamic ram formed during the penetration of fuel tank by single or multiple fragments to understand the damage mechanism of fuel tank impacted by high-energy fragments. It was then used to analysis the tank distortion brought in by changes in impacting velocity and the distance between the impacting points. The results show that the distortion height of the fuel tank will increase by 4. 3% with the increase of impacting velocity by 100 m/s for single fragment penetration;the distortion of the fuel tank will increase with the decreased distance between the impacting points for multiple fragments penetration at a constant impacting velocity of 1400 m/s and reach to the maximum when the distance between the impacting points is 8. 3 times the diameter of fragment.关键词
