Abstract
Objective To explore the relationships between the serum concentration of soluble E‐cadherin (sE‐CAD) and the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis in patients with colon carcinoma .Methods The 93 serum samples were collect‐ed from 93 patients with colon carcinoma before surgery .The serum concentrations of sE‐CAD were detected by ELISA meth‐ods .Results The serum concentration of sE‐CAD in 93 patients with colon carcinoma was 5307ng/ml .The progression‐free survival rate(PFS) of patients with higher sE‐CAD was shorter than those with lower sE‐CAD(60.3% VS 81.0% ) .Conclusion The serum concentration of sE‐CAD was associated with vascular invasion ,lymphatic metastasis and staging .Higher serum sE‐CAD concentration is an independent prognostic marker for patients with colon carcinoma .关键词
