川东南地区茅口组断裂多重分形特征及意义
Multifractal feature and significance of Maokou Formation faults in the southeast of Sichuan
摘要
Abstract
The authors use the multifractal method to calculate the fractal dimension value of Lower Permian Maokou Formation faults and the faults with different distributional trends in the southeast of Sichuan.The result shows that the fracture system of the research area has good statistics self-similarity and obvious fractal feature under the scale range of 40 ~2.5 km.NW-trending fault has a maximum fractal dimension value which is close to that of the total fault.This indicates that NW-trending fault is the dominant fracture of the research area,having greater density,intensity and complexity than NE-trending fault and EW-trending fault.The description of the plane distribution feature of the fractal dimension value shows that the extending direction of the fractal dimension value contour and the fault strike are quite consistent.The high value area of fractal dimension contour, from Well Guan 3 to Well ls1 is the favorable area for exploration in Maokou Formation.关键词
