A Study on Chinese English Major Students' Ability to Express Chinese Culture in English in Local Universities---A Case Study of Foreign Language School in Xianyang Normal University
摘要
Abstract
On the basis of tests and interviews, a quantitative and qualitative study on Chinese English ma-jor students' ability to express Chinese culture in English in local universities is conducted. The investigation finds that English Major Students in Local Universities have poor ability to express Chinese culture in English, which results from several factors including students' poor language ability, inappropriate design of major courses and non-balanced input of culture in target language and native language etc.. In view of these problems, this pa-per explores how to efficiently integrate Chinese culture into English teaching.关键词
