Abstract

This paper probes into the relationship between transformational leadership and employees' job performance through the questionnaire survey of 228 employees from the cultural industry in Anhui Province and especially focuses on whether the employees'silent behavior plays an intermediary role mediating between transformational leadership and employees'job perfor-mance. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between transformational leadership and employees'job performance and the employees' acquiescent silence and defensive silence play a partial intermediary role between transforma-tional leadership and employees'job performance. But the pro-social silence does not play an intermediary role. Meanwhile, there is a significant negative correlation between employees'silent behavior and employees'job performance.
