A Method of Peak Extraction by DEM Based on Basin Subdivision

Abstract
Peak automatic extraction by DEM is one of the important research content of digital terrain analysis, On the basis of summarizing the main technical of peak extraction, the model building process of basin subdivision has been described in detail, and a sample area in the foothills between the Northeast Plain and Daxing’ anling has been given. By using ArcGIS Python framework for geographic processing platform, the model was implemented and verified, and in-depth discussions on the affect of model accuracy on threshold for dispersion, a new idea for the peak automatic extraction has been provided.关键词
