Abstract

The methods of triple-frequency cycle-slip detection and correction based on geometry-free phase combi-nation, code-phase combination and LAMBDA algorithm have been introduced in this paper. Then the performance of geometry-free phase combinations and code-phase combinations was assessed under different intervals. The ex-periment result indicated that the geometry-free phase combinations achieved better detection sensitivity than code-phase combinations which were affected by code noise and multipath error. Three cycle-slip repair methods were compared from the two aspects of time consumption and success rate. The result indicated that the method based on geometry-free phase combination got the worst performance which was mainly caused by the searching method de-pended on the empirical value. The method based on code-phase combination did not need searching step which made itself the quickest one, but some of the cycle-slips were not determined correctly because of the influence of code noise and multipath error. The method based on LAMBDA algorithm cost less time and had the highest suc-cessrate because the LAMBDA technique could flat the n dimensional search space and control the impact of errors remained after between epoch difference. Considering the analysis above, a method using two selected geometry-free phase combinations to detect cycle-slip and the LAMBDA technique to determine the cycle-slip was recom-mend.
