摘要

Abstract

In order to solve the problem of cross platform embedded GIS software development, an embedded GIS middleware platform named EGIS MW was designed according to the features of the embedded environment with the diversity of platforms and the limit of resources. The EGIS MW platform can effectively hide the difference of different embedded environments and provide the unified and suitable for embedded GIS application programming interface. The EGIS MW platform has been applied to an embedded navigation system in the different software and hardware environments. The application results showed that the EGIS MW platform can meet the technical require-ments of cross platform embedded GIS software development.
