Abstract
The age of mobile Internet witnesses an increasing demand of Location-Based Service,especially in water conservancy sector.An overview of current status of mobile GIS application development in water conservancy sec-tor of China is given in aspects of the definition,specialty and system architecture of mobile GIS,software demands in water conservancy sector,and typical software architecture of mobile GIS application (Native,Web and Hy-brid).Furthermore,practical cases of mobile GIS App development in China are introduced,and finally the out-look of possible implementation of mobile GIS application for water conservancy sector in the future is discussed with new technologies such as cloud computing and internet of things(IOT).关键词
