Abstract
Objective To understand the current status of occupational exposure of medical staffs in Chongqing area,and explore the countermeasures.Methods The occupational exposure of medical staffs occurred in 3 6 hospitals participating in the survey from May 1st,2011 to September 30th were counted and analyzed.Results 554 cases of occupational exposure have been collected,inclu-ding 456 cases of sharp injuries and 98 cases of exposure to blood and body fluids.The secondary hospitals were more susceptible to occupational exposure than the tertiary hospitals.Most of the occupational exposure populations were nurses(67.69%),and the highest risk departments were wards(41.52%).The moment when sharp injuries occurred was post-usage and pre-disposal.The proportion of exposure to blood and body fluids on face was 37.76%.Conclusion Scientific means and interventions should be con-ducted to enhance the recognition of medical staffs in chongqing area and to improve report rate,in order to ensure occupational safety of medical staffs.关键词
