Preliminary Study on Azadirachtin and Celangulins against the Larva of Homona coffearia Meyrick in Laboratory

摘要

Abstract

Effects of 0.5% azadirachtin EC and1%Celangulins EC against the larva ofHomona coffearia Meyrick were performed in laboratory. Both 2 botanic Pesticides exhibited the high control efficiency againstHomona coffearia Meyrick with fast availability in laboratory, and themortality ofHomona coffearia Meyrick were 70%, 85.19% and 100%, and 66.7%、88.89% and 96.67% after treatment with dilutions of 800 times(0.5% azadirachtin EC)and 750 times(1%Celangulins EC)for 1, 3 and 5 days, respectively. The preliminary results suggested that 0.5% azadirachtin EC and1% Celangulins EC were both suitable for the controlling of Homona coffearia Meyrick in tea plantation.
