Abstract
When several bus voltage transformers ( TV) are in parallel operation in 10kV electrical power distribution system, how to choose the resonance eliminator installation program to effectively prevent TV damage and fuse failure is a problem. To deal with the issue, the model of two bus-TVs in parallel operation is built up by ATP-EMTP, and the suppression effect of different resonance eliminator installation programs on over-voltages and over-currents are analyzed, from which the reasonable program is obtained. The TV high voltage fuse blow can be effectively avoided by installing resonance eliminator on any bus TV when ferromagnetic resonance occurs. However, the eliminator needs to be installed on all bus TVs when low frequency non-liner oscillation occurs. The same program is also obtained when three and four bus-TVs are in parallel operation. Case-case analysis is need for the difference in TV excitation characteristics, system parameters, resonance eliminating methods and system operation modes.关键词
