Abstract
Starting with analyzing characteristics of the management for the life cycle of metering properties , this paper aims to predict the lifetime of the metering properties and evaluate the status level .First, the paper analyzed every rea-sonable and potential effect of all element on the lifetime of the metering assets , and put forward the concept of bench-mark values of the metering assets ’ lifetime.Then, the paper adopted the principal component analysis method to e-liminate the phenomenon of multivariate co-linearity and thereby predicted the lifetime of the metering assets with the theory of multivariate linear regression .Finally , by comparing the predicted lifetime with the benchmark value of the metering assets , the status level of the metering asset was got .The experimental results verified that this method could work quite effectively in predicting the lifetime of the metering properties and evaluating the status level .关键词
