摘要

Abstract

As an important element of smart grid, the video monitoring system is widely used in substations operation, maintenance and management . However, there’re some obstacles in communications among devices from different companies.A new test system has been designed using simulation methods, which will be able to test the functions, protocols and capabilities of a real video monitoring system. Moreover, it will point out the problem for the abnormal device operation, so as to make it satisfy the developing needs of video monitoring system. Practical tests prove that the designed test system has a practical application value with its stability, reliability, accuracy and availability.
