LTE-A上行链路中单用户MIMO的球形译码算法性能分析
Performance Analysis of Sphere Decoding Algorithms for Single-user MIMO in LTE-A Uplink

Abstract
To deal with weakening effects such as fading and spatial multiplexing interference,the receiver of a multiple-input multiple-output( MIMO) system needs effective detection algorithm,while the algo-rithm’ s characteristics such as performance and complexity will vary depending on the application scenar-io. Therefore,it is of importance for the implementation of MIMO systems to evaluate and compare different algorithms in these aspects. For the scenario of single-user MIMO in the uplink of LTE-A,this paper intro-duces an implementation scheme for sphere decoding( SD) algorithms,based on single-tree search and it-erative interference cancellation,through the analysis of the SD algorithms in existing literatures and related methods,with the engineering implementability taken into account. Through performance evaluation in an uplink simulation platform compliant with 3GPP standards,the performance gain of SD compared with that of minimum mean square error( MMSE) and its relative trends are observed,thereby providing guidelines for engineering implementation of SD algorithms.关键词
