A Smart Substation LAN Communication Queue Scheduling Strategy Based on Improved WFQ Algorithm

Abstract
Nowadays,a more efficient way is provided for data sharing in smart substations with the development of Ethernet technology in communication network.As a key link,a rational information network scheduling policy is particularly crucial. In view of the inadequacy of the priority scheduling strategy for smart substations,a comprehensive local area network(LAN) communication queue scheduling policy based on improved weighted fair queuing (WFQ) algorithm is proposed.As an example,a typical communication network of a smart substation is taken for illustration and the corresponding communication network model is established in OPNET.Simulation results show that the proposed strategy is capable of effectively improving the delay characteristic of low priority queues while ensuring the service quality of high priority queues in emergency cases.关键词
