A Closed-Loop Control Model for Real-Time Generation Scheduling and Its Application

Abstract
In allusion to link up the post-online application modules for real-time generation scheduling with automatic generation control (AGC) system to further improve the precision level of scheduling operation, a unit control mode in real-time generation scheduling and its transformational mechanism are proposed and a optimization model of real-time generation scheduling and closed-loop control of AGC system is established. In the established model, according to the differences of control modes generation units are divided into three categories, namely the AGC units, the transitional units and the scheduling units, and the modelings of the units belonging to different control modes are performed to implement the dynamic transformation between AGC units and transitional units, meanwhile, the dynamic transferring of regulable capacity of power system among different categories of generation units can reach the effect of reasonable distribution of regulable capacity. Using IEEE 118-bus system to test the proposed model, simulation results show that the established model is feasible and effective, and it is also indicated that during the drafting of real-time generation scheduling, by means of considering the demand of AGC the resource of regulable capacity of power system can be reasonably allocated among generation units to decrease the pressure of AGC during its operation and implement the effective utilization of the controlled resource.关键词
