Abstract
For the purpose of testing the performance of motors and power units, an efficient and practical system capable of the emulation of dynamical electric loads is needed. In this paper, a method for physical simulation of dynamical electric loads without flux linkage observation is presented. The paper describes the model and the dynamic equation of the control system, which is capable of emulating three kinds of mechanical load. By the method of maintaining a constant excitation and adjusting armature current of the DC machine, this paper gives the way to simulating different kinds of load. The control strategy is emulated by PSCAD, and the results show this system can precisely simulate the dynamical load of constant torque, constant power and fan-type.关键词
