Progress on Cytochrome P450 Enzyme in Experiment Minipigs
摘要
Abstract
The minipig has become an important animal model in human studies due to its similarity in anatomy, physiology and disease development.The cytochrome P450 (CYP450)enzyme is a major kind of enzymes for the metabolism of drug in human beings.Knowing the properties of CYP450 enzyme in minipig is crucial for its use in pharmaceutical research.This paper reviewed the progress on CYP450 enzyme in minipig and its comparative stud-ies with CYP450 enzyme of humans on the enzyme activities,mRNA expression and gene levels,as well as its ap-plication progress in pharmaceutical research.关键词
