摘要

Abstract

A compact monopole microstrip ultra-wideband antenna is proposed. The bandwidth of the antenna is increased by adding a central block to the basic U-shaped structure and etching step-form slot on the partial ground plane. Both the simulation and experimental results show that the bandwidth and relative bandwidth of the antenna can reach 3 GHz~13 GHz( S11≤-10 dB) and 125% respectively. It has good omni-directional radiation pattern in the XZ plane and exhibits stability radiation pattern in the YZ plane. The proposed antenna satisfies the requirements of the UWB system,simple and compact in size,and ease of integration.
