摘要

Abstract

The surface of carbon black particles were modified by concentrated nitric acid(50%)and silane coupling agent ( KH550 ) . The particle size, morphology and element content of the modified carbon black were characterizated by using scanning electronic microscope ( SEM ) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy ( EDS ) . The dispersity of modified carbon black in TCE was analyzed by using metalloscope and UV-VIS spectrophotometer. The electric field response characteristic of the oxidation modified carbon black was tested by using the self-made electrophoretic apparatus. The results indicated that the conductivity of the modified carbon black was decreased, and it has better dispersity and electric field response characteristic. Also, the dispersity of the modified carbon black in the TCE can be effectively improved with charge control agent span-80.
