摘要

Abstract

For settlement deformation of residual soil foundation , it is proved that the calculation result of settlement is often too large when using compression modulus and it should use the deformation modulus obtained by field test .Therefore , some measured data of a certain residual soil foundation in Guangzhou were taken for an example in this paper , in which the nonlinear of settlement was expressed by hyperbolic model and the required calculation parameters were determined according to the field loading test , and finally the results were compared with test ones .The comparison results show that the method of settlement calculation with hyperbolic model for residual soil foundation is feasible .
