摘要

Abstract

Seismicity anomalies such as seismic belts and gaps of earthquakes of M≥4.8 in the region (24°~28°N,98°~102°E),seismic quiescence in north-west Yunnan,seismic windows in Zhongdian and Yongsheng and the anomaly earthquake swarm in Eryuan,as well as different underground fluid parameters synchronously appeared in different stations were found before the Eryuan earthquakes of MS5.5 and MS5.0 on March 3 and April 17,2013. The synthetic decision scenario of the Western Yunnan Earthquake Prediction Study Area (WYEPSA)and its adjacent area reached the threshold value on December 25,2012 and March 30,2013.Then the successful 3-month short-term prediction for this earthquake was made on February 28,2013.We try to review and introduce this case,because it may be helpful for pridicting the next event.
