External ifxation in treatment of serious splintered fracture of distal radius
摘要
Abstract
Objective To evaluate clinical effect of external fixation in the treatment of serious splintered fracture of distal radius.Methods The clinical data of 54 patients with serious splintered fracture of distal radius treated by external ifxation were retrospectively analyzed.Results All the patients were followed up 5 to 12 months(mean 9.3 months). The external ifxations were averagely ifxed 7.5 weeks. X ray showed that all cases were clinically healed. The looseness of external ifxation occurred in 2 cases .3 cases got ankylosis and 1 cases bone ununion. No infection and carpal tunnel syndrome occurred. Imaging and Gartiand-Werely Score showed that 45 excellently recovered, 4 well, and 5 fairly, with an excellent-and-good rate of 98.2%.Conclusions External fixation in the treatment of serious splintered fracture of distal radius has effective reduction, can maintain the highness of distal radius, prevent the loss of the highness of distal radius, and reduce the incidences of ankylosis and osteoarthritis, and is worth being clinically generalized.关键词
