10 Gbit/s时分波分混合复用无源光网络系统

摘要
Abstract
In order to solve the problem of low bandwidth,high latency of TDM-PON and high cost and low utilization of WDM-PON),a novel hybrid TDM/WDM-PON system using Mach-Zehnder interferometer switches and a high speed LiN-bO3 Mach-Zehnder modulator is proposed.This scheme can not only enable the transmission of data to fast and flexible for the different optical network units,but also reduce the number of electro-optic modulator and the cost of the system without cut down the high transmission rate.Meanwhile this system is achieved 10 Gbit/s downstream,1.25 Gbit/s upstream over 50 km transmission distance by using the technologies of optical carrier suppressed modulation and wavelength reuse.关键词
