Abstract

Objective:To illuminate the effect of moderate hypothermia on inflammatory cytokine expression and its clinical significance by detecting inflammatory cytokine(TNF-α、IL-1β、IL-6)expression levels after the intestinal epithelial cell barrier injured by oxidative stress. Methods:The Intestinal epithelial cell barrier model in vitro was established by Caco-2 cells,divided into moderate hypothermia group,normal temperature group and sub-hypothermia group. The expression levels of mRNA in the cells were examined by reverse transcription PCR and rea1 time PCR,and inflammatory cytokine in the cultural supernatant was measured by ELISA. Results:After the intestinal epithelial cell barrier injured by oxidative stress,the mRNA in inflammatory cytokines in moderate hypothermia group and the mass concentration of inflammatory cytokines in the cultural supernatant were significantly lower than those in normal temperature group and sub-hypothermia group. Conclusion:Moderate hypothermia can inhibit the secretion of inflammatory cytokine compared to normal tempera-ture and sub-hypothermia,which has important clinical significance.
