摘要

Abstract

Based on CTPB propellant end⁃burning grain and equidistant interval sampling from the center of grain section to boundary,the burning rates and Cl contents( representing AP contents) of different parts of grain section were determined to disclose the influence of AP concentration on boundary effect by using GJB770B—2005 Standard and SEM⁃EDS respectively.The experimen⁃tal results show that the burning rates of different parts of grain section increase gradually from center to boundary,which takes on a typical boundary effect. Similarly,the AP contents of different parts of grain section also increase gradually from center to boundary, which indicates that the boundary effect results from the uneven distribution of AP content in different parts of grain.Furthermore,the casting style can affect the boundary effect significantly.When uniform casting style is adopted,the uneven distribution of AP caused by the lateral flow in the process of propellant slurry⁃casting can be eliminated and the boundary effect can be weakened as well.As a result,the combustion stability of end⁃burning grain will be increased evidently.
