摘要

Abstract

Lead and manganese have been used for more than half a century as gasoline additives, which cause serious damage to human health when the vehicle emissions get into atmosphere.Both of two heavy metals have significant neurotoxicity, especially for children who have immature blood brain barrier.Nowadays environmental pollution is very serious, and more attention is paid to the joint exposures of heavy metals.This paper reviewed the toxicology of lead and manganese on nerves and further elaborated their joint toxic effects.
