Abstract
Objective To discuss how stretch marks generate and evaluate the repair effect of Pigeon body and stretch mark repair cream on stretch marks.Methods Totally 30 healthy females with mean age of 28 years were tested at least 6 months after delivery.The stretch mark appeared less than one year ago, which was obviously seen around abdomen and the color was red.Taking the midline of abdomen as boundary, abdomen was divided into two sides.One side was randomly selected as product testing side, and the other as control side. Pigeon body and stretch mark repair cream was used twice a day.At the very beginning, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 8 weeks and 12 weeks after using the cream, the color uniformity, looseness and severity of stretch marks were assessed by professionals and skin texture and roughness were assessed by skin scanner.Results After using Pigeon product for 8 weeks and 12 weeks, the severity of stretch marks at testing site improved significantly compared to the control site (t value was 2.11 and 4.23, respectively, both P<0.05).After using for 12 weeks, skin texture and roughness at the testing site also improved significantly ( t value was 1.99 and 2.30, respectively, both P<0.05 ) . Conclusion Pigeon body and stretch mark repair cream has repair effect on stretch marks.关键词
