Abstract
ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of motor imagery therapy for stroke patients in improving arm function and viability using Meta analysis. Methods: The electronic databases Medline, EMBASE, Pubmed and Cochrane Library, Web of Science and Goolgle scholar were searched, while obtaining literature by retrieving relevant citations. Two independent investigators evaluated the literatures, extracted data from the literature for Meta-analysis. Results: A total of seven randomized controlled study with 188 patients were included in the analysis. The results showed that it was better for rehabilitation therapy combined with motor imagery therapy to improve upper extremity function than rehabilitation therapy alone. Conclusion: The rehabilitation therapy with motor imagery therapy might have better effect in the improvement of upper extremity function in stroke patients.关键词
