Abstract

Objective]The aim of this study was to establish the method that the samples were digested with microwave and the Pb content in subtropical fruits was determined by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.[Methods]The subtropical fruit samples were digested with HNO3 solutions,the digested solution was heated to eliminate HNO3 and the final volume was made to 25 mL.Microwave conditions and operational conditions of graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry were optimized,and the various optimal analytical conditions were in-vestigated and verified.[Results]The calibration curve was linear in the range of 0~8.0μg/L for Pb with detection limit of 1.247 μg/L,RSD was 4.7%,and the recoveries were between 95·0% and 102.0%.The determination results of Pb in standard sample were agreed with the standard value.[Conclusion]The method is simple and reveals high sensitivity, good recovery rate and repeatability,and it can be used for the determination of lead in subtropical fruits.
