Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of nuclear factor -κB( NF-κB) in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma .Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of NF -κB protein in 41 cases of ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma ,30 cases of ovarian serous cystic adenoma and 30 cases of normal ovarian tissue .Results No expression of NF-κB protein was detected in normal ovarian tissue ,the positive rate of NF-κB in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in ovarian serous cystic adenoma (70.7%vs.20.0%,P<0.001).The expression of NF-κB protein was higher in patients with poor differentiation , clinical stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ,positive lymph nodes metastasis and CA 125≥500 U/L(P<0.05).Conclusion NF-κB plays an important role in the development of ovarian cancer .关键词
