Abstract
Objective To evaluate left ventricular function (LVF) in patients with heart failure (HF) evaluated by using real-time three-dimensional echocardiography ( RT-3DE) in combination with Tei index .Methods RT-3DE and pulsed doppler ultrasound were used to measure left ventricular end diastolic volume ( LVEDV) ,left ventricular end systolic volume(LVESV),left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF),left ventricular mass(LVM),ejection time(ET) and Tei index in 104 patients with HF and 74 healthy volunteers ( control group).Results LVEDV,LVESV,LVM,left ventricular mass index ( LVMI) and Tei index were significantly higher but LVEF and ET were significantly lower in patients with HF in contrast with those in the control group ( P<0 .05 ) .LVEF negatively correlated with LVM while Tei index positively correlated with LVM in patients with HF ( P<0 .05 ) , and Tei index negatively correlated with LVEF(P<0.05).Conclusion RT-3DE combined with Tei index can accurately evaluate LVF in patients with HF better , judge the severity of HF effectively , and provide the evidences for HF typing .关键词
