Abstract
Objective To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of achilles tendon rupture in Nanning City , and to provide a basis for the prevention of the disease .Methods The clinical data of 229 patients with achilles tendon rupture who were hospitalized in the five hospitals in Nanning City were retrospectively analyzed ,and the epidemiological characteristics of achilles tendon rupture were also analyzed .Results The ages of patients with achilles tendon rupture were mainly 21 to 40 years old(55.02%).The male to female ratio was 5.03 ∶1.Closed achilles tendon rupture(120 cases,52.40%) were mainly sports injury(70.00%),and most patients′careers were company employee and civil servant (56.67%).Open achilles tendon rupture(109 cases,47.60%) was mainly due to sharp cutting(44.95%) and stepping into potty(24.77%),their careers were mainly farmer(46.79%) and student(26.61%).The breakpoint of achilles tendon rupture was mainly at 2-6 cm upper calcaneal tubercle(80.35%).The achilles tendon rupture often occurred in summer and autumn (55.90%),and the most common location were in the playground (or stadium)(36.24%).Conclusion Achilles tendon rupture owns its epidemiological characteristics .We should take targeted measures to reduce its incidence according to its characteristics .关键词
