Expression of Thrombin in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Tissues and Its Correlation with Microvessel Density
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the expressions of thrombin in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues and their neighboring noncancerous tissues ,and to analyze the relationship between thrombin expressions and microvessel density(MVD) to explore the role of thrombin in the pathogenesis and development of HCC .Methods Forty-two cases of HCC tissues and forty-two cases of neighboring noncancerous tissues were studied with immunohistochemical method in order to detect the expressions of thrombin and CD 34.Besides their correlations,their relations with clinicopathologic features of HCC were further analyzed .Results The positive rate of thrombin in HCC tissues was significantly higher than that in neighboring noncancerous tissues (P <0.05).The expression of thrombin in HCC tissues was remarkably related with postoperative recurrence (P <0.05),and positively correlated with MVD(P <0.05).Conclusion Thrombin is highly expressed in HCC tissues,related with postoperative recurrence ,and positively correlates with MVD.It suggests that thrombin might have the effects on progression and prognosis of HCC by promoting angiogenesis .关键词
