Abstract
O bjce tive To explore the relationship between the expression of nuclear factor kappa B ( NF-κB) and the clinicopathological characters in cervical squamous cell carcinoma and cervical intraepithelial neoplasia ( CIN) tissues.Methods Immunohistochemical SP method was used to detect the expression of NF-κBp65 protein in20 cases of normal cervical tissue (control group),64 cases of CIN(26 of CINⅠ,38 of CINⅡ/Ⅲ) and 45 cases of cervical squamous cell carcinoma ( cervical squamous cell carcinoma group ) .Resutl s The positive expression rates of NF-κBp65 protein in the control group ,CINⅠgroup,CINⅡ/Ⅲgroup and cervical squamous cell carcinoma group were 15.00%(3/20), 34.62%(9/26),47.37%(18/38) and 66.67%(30/45),respectively.The positive expression rates of NF-κBp65 protein in CINⅡ/Ⅲand cervical squamous cell carcinoma groups were significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). But there was no significant difference in the positive expression rate of NF-κBp65 protein between CINⅠgroup and control group(P>0.05).The positive expression rate of NF-κBp65 protein correlated with clinical stages and lymph node metastasis ( P<0 .05 ) , but did not significantly correlate with the other clinicopathological characters including histological grade,tumor size and gender (P>0.05).Conclusion The NF-κBp65 protein is overexpressed in cervical squamous cell carcinoma tissues .Its positive expression rate correlates with clinical stages and lymph node metastasis (P>0.05).关键词
