摘要

Abstract

The large capacity turbine generator unit of hydropower plant usually installed with the generator circuit breaker, As the generator circuit breaker is rarely used, The industry is still no consensus about Generator breaker failure protection action logic and setting. This article analyzed the most commonly used GCB failure protection action logic, pointed out the problems of failure to operate or unwanted operation with it, and proposed optimized logic to add Current fault starting component in order to improve its reliability.
