Abstract
Objective To investigate the influencing factors of the prognosis in elderly patients with acute renal failure ( ARF) . Methods Clinical data of 412 elderly patients with ARF during January 2005 and January 2013 was ret-rospectively analyzed. Results The common causes of induced ARF in the 412 elderly patients were infection, heart failure, application of renal toxicity drugs, tumor and surgery, and the corresponding rates were 38. 4%, 21. 6%, 18. 0%, 9. 0% and 6. 1% respectively. The single factor analysis showed that infection, application of renal toxicity drugs, heart failure, aged (≥80 years old) , complication of MODS ( multiple organ dysfunction syndrome) and history of chronic renal disease were closely related with prognosis (P <0. 01, P <0. 05). The Logistic Regression Analysis showed that infection, application of renal toxicity drugs, heart failure, aged (≥80 years old) and complication of MODS were independent risk factors of the prognosis in elderly patients with ARF (P<0. 05). Conclusion Influencing factors of prognosis should be given more attention in elderly patients with ARF, and pertinent treatment should be taken to re-duce mortality rate and improve prognosis.关键词
