摘要
Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical effects of subfrontal and pterional approaches in excision of tuber-culum sellae meningioma. Methods A total of 67 inpatients with tuberculum sellae meningioma admitted during May 2004 and May 2014 were divided into subfrontal approach group (n=37) and pterional approach group (n=30) accord-ing to different surgical approaches. The intraoperative levels of tumor resection, vision recovery degree 2 weeks after sur-gery and incidence rate of complications in the two groups were observed. Results The total resection rate in the sub-frontal approach group was higher than that in the pterional approach group (P<0. 05);there were no significant differ-ences in the vision recovery and the incidence rate of complications in the two groups ( P>0. 05 ) . Conclusion The subfrontal approach has good surgical field and a high rate of total resection, but there is no significant effect on the vision recovery and incidence rate of complications following the two surgical approaches.关键词
