Abstract
Objective To study the effect of enteral nutrition combined with Sijunzi decoction on postoperative nutritional status and the immune function of patients with colon carcinoma. Methods A total of 84 inpatients with colon carcinoma during August 2011 and April 2014 were divided into observation group (n = 42) and control group (n = 42). All inpatients were treated with early enteral nutritional support, and then the observation group was given additional Si-junzi decoction, while the control group was given additional physiological saline of same volume. The index changes of nutritional status and immune function before and after the treatment were observed in the two groups. Results The differences in nutritional and immunological indexes before the treatment in the two groups were not statistically significant (P > 0. 05); in the two groups, nutritional and immunological indexes after treatment were significantly improved com-pared with those before the treatment, and the improvement in observation group was superior to that in control group (P < 0. 05). Conclusion The enteral nutritional combined with Sijunzi decoction can improve the nutritional status and immune function of patients with colon carcinoma.关键词
