Changes and Clinical Significance of Peripheral Blood Lymphocyte Subsets in 380 Patients with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the effects of T lymphocyte cell subsets, B-lymphocytes and NK cells changes in the pathogenesy and development of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods A total of 380 inpa-tients with SLE and 58 healthy controls taking medical examination were recruited in this study, and then the SLE inpa-tients were divided into inactive SLE subgroup (subgroup A, n = 157), gentle active SLE subgroup (subgroup B, n =79), midrange active SLE subgroup (subgroup C, n = 82) and severe active SLE subgroup (subgroup D, n = 62). The counts and percentages of T-lymphocytes, B-lymphocytes, Th, Ts and NK cells in peripheral blood were detected in the four groups. The correlations between peripheral-blood lymphocyte subsets and disease activity indexes of SLE (SLEDAI) in SLE patients were also analyzed. Results In active subgroups, the values of counts and percentages of T, Th and NK cells and Ts cell count were significantly lower than those in control group, while B-lymphocytes percentage was signifi-cantly higher than those in control group and inactive SLE subgroup (P < 0. 05). The counts of T, Th, Ts, NK cells and percentage of T cell were negatively correlated with SLEDAI score, while percentage of B cell was positively correlated with SLEDAI score ( r = - 0. 347, - 0. 311, - 0. 326, - 0. 351, - 0. 318, 0. 455, P < 0. 05). Conclusion The changes of lymphocyte subsets in peripheral blood of SLE patients may be helpful in evaluating pathogenetic condition and diagnosis of the SLE.关键词
