Abstract
VMF test tool is designed to detect errors of encoding and decoding function of the tested system.An automatic test tool is designed for VMF syntactic rules and part of the semantic constraints' conformance testing in this paper.The framework of the test tool was designed,which include modular of the VMF data element dictionary,test task manager,test case generator,VMF codec,format trans-lation interface,etc.Then designed the test process of encoding and decoding function using legal and il-legal test cases,analyzed the test requirements considering both the syntactic rules and semantic rules, designed the categories of test cases that can be generated from VMF data element dictionary,and pro-vided the test case generation method.The method generated a specified category of the test cases,gen-erated other categories by modifying the message content or message code of the specified test cases. The generation method has polynomial complexity,and avoids combination explosion.The experiment results proof that the test tool is feasible and effective.关键词
