摘要

Abstract

The motion state of front vehicle was judged by its acceleration and change rate. The model of safety distance based on kinematic analysis of vehicle braking was improved as the front vehicle in emergency braking or sustained acceleration. The simulation experiments were performed on the basis of double-wheel model. The results show the perfected model is still able to achieve the purpose of colli⁃sion avoidance even when the front vehicle confronts traffic collision. Also, as the front vehicle is in sus⁃tained acceleration, the model can improve the roads’trafficability on the premise of ensuring safety.
