摘要
Abstract
Claudio and Juliet’ s adultery is the main ethical line of William Shakespeare’ s drama Measure for Measure. The drama demonstrates adulterer and whoremonger’ s destiny transform under Vienna’ s nomocracy. This paper focuses on Vienna’ s ethical con-fusion, adulterer’ s tragic fate transform to comedy fate,while whoremonger’ s comedy fate transform to tragic fate. Aims to point out that , in the pre-modern western society, whether identity for Christian ethics determines the fate of the individual.关键词
